Saadian-inspired Spa,  Ô de Rose, opens at Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech

May 17, 2017 – Following its recent US$100 million redevelopment, Morocco’s latest hospitality landmark, Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech, has unveiled a serene new 1,500sqm, two-floor spa haven that will offer guests a refreshingly authentic, Saadian-inspired world class wellness experience – the Ô de Rose Spa by Cinq Mondes. Wreathed in the exotic scents of rose, orange blossom and jasmine, and richly decorated with mosaic tiles and geometric patterns, Ô de Rose is a serene, sunlit space that evokes memories of Draâ, home of the grand Saadian Sultan Al Mansour, whose grace and achievements inspired the hotel.

Taking its name from the traditional rosewater that perfumed the Saadian nobility for generations, the new Ô de Rose Spa is a world-class wellbeing experience expertly guided by the globally renowned Cinq Mondes brand. Spread across two floors, this haven of wellness features six individual treatment rooms plus a dedicated couples’ treatment suite; and a magnificent hammam complex fit for the Saadian sultan, comprising four private areas for scrubs and hammams – two of which feature their own steam room. Further wellness facilities include a sauna; outdoor pool and Jacuzzi; nail studio showcasing Semilac products; hair salon featuring L’Oreal products; and a serene relaxation patio centred around a rose petal-strewn fountain, where guests can linger over tea or mineral water infusions

Authentic Moroccan wellness experiences include a Purifying Scrub with Beldi Black Soap (30 minutes, approx. GB£32), a traditional Middle Eastern hammam ritual that combines the exfoliating action of the Kassa Glove with a time-honoured recipe, and which is available exclusively in combination with a Hammam Aroma & Colors ceremony or as an introduction to a North African Rhassoul Wrap (30 minutes, approx. GB£32); and Cinq Mondes’ Relaxing North African Massage (30 minutes, approx. GB£32), using delicately perfurmed warm Argan oil to envelop the body with slow, deep movements. Ô de Rose also offers a range of signature Mövenpick massages and treatment rituals, international Cinq Mondes treatments inspired by the healing traditions of Bali, India and Japan, as well as extensive beauty and hairdressing services.
